Comments: I am from South Africa and according to SA law, I have to retire in March 2023, on 65 years of age. I am still in good health and retirement is not an option for me. I have been a high school teacher since 1980 and a school principal for the last 29 years. I would like to make a total career change, and live out a life long dream of working in the USA in agriculture or long distance truck driving. I am in possession of a South African Code 14 drivers license plus PDP for goods and personnel, which is similar to the CDL A in the USA. I have experience in driving 16 ton double axle trucks with same size trailers, and lots of experience in driving 65 to 77 seater busses as well as 4×4 trucks in Southern Africa.
I am really committed to contribute in a positive way to the company I work for.
I need to know if I will qualify to apply for this job at my age. I will be available on 1 April 2023.
