MORTON, IL, June 27, 2017 – G&D Integrated, a specialized provider of transportation and logistics services, is replacing 100 trucks in its fleet in 2017 which demonstrates the company’s focus on and commitment to its transportation line of business, customers, and safety.

G&D expects to continue an aggressive fleet replacement program which was initiated in late 2014. The company replaced 159 trucks with new Freightliner and Volvo tractors in 2015 and 2016 and has plans to replace an additional 100 trucks by the end of the 2017 calendar year. Beyond this investment, G&D will add 100 new trailers to the fleet this year. The company’s fleet services the Midwest, Southeast, and South Central regions of the United States and is supplemented by freight brokerage services which provide full coverage across the country.

“We are continuing our aggressive fleet purchase program to support the growth in our transportation business and lower our overall operating costs,” said Jeff Cohen, vice president of transportation at G&D Integrated. “We see great opportunities for G&D Integrated in asset-based transportation, driven by our longstanding relationships with our core customers and regional expansion plans.”

G&D believes its fleet replenishment efforts will help in driver recruitment as well. The company says its drivers can count on clean and reliable equipment that will provide a safe experience and operating performance which will help maximize driver earnings.
