NAPERVILLE, IL, May 16, 2016 – G&D Integrated has recently announced the replacement of 150 trucks in their dedicated fleet over the past year and a half, again proving their focus and commitment to their transportation line of business, their customers, and safety.

G&D expects to continue an aggressive fleet replacement program which was initiated in late 2014. They replaced 120 trucks with new Freightliner and Volvo tractors in 2015 and have plans to replace an additional 120 trucks by the end of the 2016 calendar year. At this pace, they will replace and replenish their entire fleet within the next two years. G&D’s dedicated fleet transportation program services the Midwest, Southeast, and South Central regions of the United States and their freight brokerage services span across North America.

“We are extremely pleased with the progress of our fleet replenishment program,” said Jeff Cohen, vice president of transportation at G&D Integrated. “Decreased maintenance costs and fuel savings over the past few years have enabled us to pay for the majority of the new trucks coming onboard.”

G&D believes their fleet replenishment efforts will help in their driver recruitment as well. Since a driver’s CSA or Compliance Safety Accountability can be negatively affected by running older or poorly maintained equipment, drivers may have greater interest in a company which operates their fleet with newer equipment.
